Good For

A Natural-Looking Refresh

A Real Medical Service, Not a Quick Add-On

There’s a reason injectables have become one of the most normalized services in aesthetics. Done well, they offer a genuinely natural-looking refresh with almost no downtime.

At Joi Med, we treat injectables as a real medical service, which means every appointment starts with an actual consultation rather than a rushed five minutes before the needles come out.

Botox and Dysport: More Similar Than Different

Both are neuromodulators that work by temporarily relaxing the muscles responsible for expression lines around the forehead, brows, and eyes.

Dysport tends to kick in slightly faster and spread a bit more, suiting larger treatment areas, while Botox’s more precise spread works well for smaller, targeted areas. We’ll help you decide which fits your face and goals.

Cellenis Derma PRP: Rejuvenation Without a Neuromodulator

For patients who want facial rejuvenation without a neuromodulator or filler, we also offer Cellenis Derma PRP, which uses platelet-rich plasma from your own blood to stimulate your skin’s natural collagen and healing response.

Some patients choose this on its own, and others layer it into a broader plan alongside Botox or Dysport for a more complete result.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

Tap each piece for detail.

Every appointment starts with an actual conversation about your goals and facial anatomy before any needles come out.

Your appointment itself usually takes well under thirty minutes, with results building in gradually over the following days.
We typically start conservatively for first-time patients rather than guessing at a higher dose upfront.
We always recommend a follow-up within a couple of weeks so we can assess and make small adjustments if needed.

Neuromodulators or PRP

Relaxing Expression Lines

Neuromodulators that temporarily relax the muscles responsible for expression lines around the forehead, brows, and eyes. Dysport kicks in faster and spreads more; Botox offers more precise, targeted spread.

Your Own Blood's Growth Factors

Uses platelet-rich plasma from your own blood to stimulate your skin’s natural collagen and healing response, a genuinely different mechanism from a neuromodulator.

Injectables FAQs

How long does Botox or Dysport typically last?
Most patients see results for three to four months, though this varies based on metabolism, muscle strength, and dosing.
Not with a well-dosed treatment. The goal, especially for first-timers, is softened lines with natural movement preserved.
Botox and Dysport relax targeted muscles to soften expression lines, while Cellenis Derma PRP uses your own blood’s growth factors to stimulate collagen and healing, a different mechanism entirely.
Generally none. Most patients return to their regular schedule immediately, with a few simple aftercare guidelines for the first several hours.
This is based on your facial anatomy, muscle strength, and goals during your consultation, not a flat, predetermined amount.
